Post Malone took Jimmy Fallon to the Olive Garden for dinner last night in New York’s Times Square. I know that Olive Garden well, I’m not embarrassed to admit that I’ve eaten there three times when I was deathly hungover and needed to fix my body with unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks.

Why Olive Garden? Why Post Malone and Jimmy Fallon? Well, Post Malone (real name Austin Richard Post) was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week where they talked about Post Malone breaking Michael Jackson’s records after his album Stoney spent 77 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard ‘Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums’ chart which beat Thriller‘s 76 weeks in the top 10.

The two then discussed how Post Malone celebrates all the big milestones in his life by going to the Olive Garden, you might know it as the O.G. Jimmy remarked that he’d never been to the Olive Garden in his entire life to experience the delicious unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks.

Flash forward to this week and the two hopped in a pink limousine together and drove a few blocks from NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza on over to the Olive Garden in Times Square where they were given the royal welcome.

During dinner, Jimmy Fallon presented Post Malone with one of the most thoughtful and unbelievable gifts imaginable. It turns out that Jimmy actually OWNED Olive Garden’s old slogan and he transferred it to Post Malone in a very special moment between these two (now) best friends for life.

Publix, if you’re out there and listening, you can totally gift me the ‘Where shopping is a pleasure’ slogan any time you want.

Also, shout out to Post Malone for introducing to the world the basket of croutons. Why even bother ordering a salad when you can just skip to the good stuff? Give me a bowl of croutons, another bowl of salad, and some dressing that I can dip my breadsticks in and I’m in heaven.
