You’ve definitely received a plethora of privacy policy update emails that have inundated your inbox in the past week or so. Earlier, we explained why you’re receiving all of these notifications all of a sudden. The reason is because of a new European law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that should help protect your personal data. The internet did what it does and lampooned the swarms of privacy policy emails with some really fantastic and funny memes.
A few of the more popular memes were Star Wars-related including one by Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson.

But Star Wars wasn’t the only movie to get the meme treatment to joke about GDPR emails, there was also Pulp Fiction, Little Mermaid, The Fugitive, Airplane, and Captain America.
