Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for its latest “special presentation”, The Punisher: One Last Kill. One Last Kill sees Jon Bernthal return as Frank Castle/The Punisher in the character’s first standalone project since the Netflix series in 2019.
The Punisher: One Last Kill is the third of Marvel’s Special Presentations, which are essentially bottle stories that are longer than an episode of television but shorter than a feature film. The previous two productions came in 2022 with Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, both of which were received by fans.
Alongside Bernthal, The Punisher: One Last Kill also stars Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Roe Rancell has been cast as Dennis, and Mila Jaymes as Charli. It was directed by King Richard and Bob Marley: One Love filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green.

He’s also previously reprised the role in Daredevil: Born Again.
In addition to The Punisher: One Last Kill and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, 2026 also sees Bernthal starring in a Broadway adaptation of Dog Day Afternoon alongside The Bear breakout Ebon Moss-Bachrach and as part of the ensemble cast in Christopher Nolan’s highly-anctipated epic The Odyssey. Earlier this year, he also featured alongside Tessa Thompson in the Netflix thriller series His & Hers.
