The Quality Enterprises construction company in Florida just flexed on every other builder in America by showcasing their artistic talents during some downtime on a site when they drew the Mona Lisa painting using Caterpillar (Cat) vehicles.

This isn’t the first time that Quality Enterprises has showcased their skills with Cat excavators, loaders, and other vehicles. Earlier this year, they drew the iconic Cat logo and shared the finished product on Instagram. To give you a sense of how much the industry loved that video, Quality Enterprises boasted just 10K followers on Instagram in December 2023 but they are now up to 110K+ after the construction world saw their Caterpillar logo video.

Florida’s Quality Enterprises Draws Mona Lisa Painting Using Caterpillar Vehicles

Prior to drawing the Mona Lisa, the QE construction crew had received a ton of requests on social media to draw the most famous painting in the world. And forgive me for a quick digression but I read The Mona Lisa Vanishes a few months ago, a book about how the Mona Lisa actually became the most famous painting in the world, and I highly recommend it to my book readers out there (it’s also available on audiobook).

Teasing their incredible work, they released a Reels on Instagram saying the Mona Lisa would be revealed on Monday and the finished product is incredible:

To all of the other construction companies out there who aren’t showcasing their skills with videos like this I just have one question… why not? This is incredible. As far as I’m concerned this is the most talented outfit in the game and until I see a rival come back with a Picasso or Dali painting QE remains the Blue Collar Olympics champion for this feat.

Florida is the #1 state in the nation for construction jobs when all factors (salary, population, growth, etc) are taken into account which means it’s an incredibly competitive field. I’m a born and raised Floridian myself and Southwest Florida has absolutely exploded in the past 20 years to the point that it is virtually unrecognizable from the region I grew up in with entire new cities coming into existence in the past few decades.

Most people outside of the industry, like myself, would have difficult discerning one company from the other but this really is an incredibly eye-catching way for a company like Quality Enterprises USA to get people like myself to remember their name.

Side note: I don’t know what sort of demolition is going on here at the start of this video with the ground exploding and imploding but if someone was selling tickets to watch this happen live I would definitely buy one:

A fun fact about this company that I just learned on their ‘Story’ page is they worked extensively on Panama Canal and Guantanamo Bay projects from 1995 to 1997. The US officially gave the Panama Canal back to Panama on 12/31/99 so it was still very much an American construction project at that point. Anyway, it’s great to see a flex like this that people like myself outside of the industry can appreciate.
