While we eagerly wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 (Which last we heard was said to be released on October 26, 2018), we do get an impressive 4K update to the original Red Dead Redemption.
On Wednesday, several Xbox 360 games were upgraded to a beautiful 4K resolution when played on Xbox One X. Besides Red Dead Redemption, other Xbox 360 games that were updated were Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Darksiders, Gears of War 2, Portal 2, and Sonic Generations. The upgraded game has 9-times the pixel count that the original version has. The upgraded graphics look fantastic, crisp, and clear especially when you look side-by-side comparisons to the original video game as you can see in the video below. Several screenshots of the beautiful 4K upgrade of Red Dead Redemption have been posted already and they look absolutely magnificent.

You may want to get this 4K Xbox One-enhanced game to get you excited for Red Dead Redemption 2. Microsoft’s 4k Update is now available for all Xbox One X users, but it will take a few hours to download since the Xbox One X update for Red Dead Redemption is a massive 582.73MB. We just waiting for Rockstar Games to upgrade GTA IV next.
