The second batch of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein from the 2015 lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell have revealed more names.
The first set of documents, released on Thursday, included numerous famous people being mentioned – none of which have been charged with any crimes.
Included in the second batch of unsealed court documents, totaling around 300 pages, was a claim made by the woman who sued Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015, Virginia Giuffre, against former President Bill Clinton.
In an email written to journalist Sharon Churcher, Giuffre alleged that Clinton walked into the offices of Vanity Fair and ordered them not to publish any articles about his “good friend” Jeffrey Epstein.
“When i was doing some research into VF yesterday, it does concern me what they could want to write about me considering that B.Clinton walked into VF and threatened them not to write sex-trafficking articles about his good friend J.E.” Giuffre wrote. “Should l be asking what is this story their writing pertaining to?”
Graydon Carter, then Vanity Fair’s editor-in-chief, now tells the Telegraph that the incident “categorically did not happen.”
However, Vicky Ward, who wrote an article about Jeffrey Epstein for Vanity Fair in 2003, claims she was ordered not to publish claims of sexual abuse leveled by two accusers.
Writing on SubStack Thursday night, Ward stated, “The only Epstein victims I heard about, met or knew of directly in 2016 were the Farmer sisters, as is by now, well documented. And, based on public records, they would not have any first-hand knowledge of Virginia or her abuse either back in 2016 because Maria Farmer worked for Epstein in New York in the mid 1990s – and she left years before Virginia first encountered him and Maxwell in Palm Beach in 2000.
“Anyway, I have always wished I had met Virginia in 2002. History would have been different, I hope. The irony of the timing is that I was interviewing Epstein and being threatened and stone-walled by him and Maxwell about the Farmers, while Virginia fled his clutches to Thailand. And he was simultaneously abusing dozens of other women and children, who now have names and faces, in the horrific ways described in these filings.
“It’s sickening.”
As for Giuffre’s email regarding Bill Clinton being involved in quashing a story about Jeffrey Epstein, Ward wrote, “If that happened, I did not know about it.
“What I knew first-hand from an eyewitness fact-checker, as I’ve already documented, was that Epstein himself appeared in the offices of Vanity Fair while my piece was going through edits and fact-checking.
“And what I also knew firsthand is that my good friend and former colleague, the late John Connolly, a retired NYPD cop whose name also comes up in these filings because he co-wrote a book, Filthy Rich, about Epstein with James Patterson, (also my co-writer) was stopped by Vanity Fair from pursuing leads he had from sources in the Palm Beach police department in 2006.”

Donald Trump was mentioned just four times in the first batch of unsealed documents, Bill Clinton’s name came up more than 70 times. Both of them have claimed they did nothing illegal during their relationships with Jeffrey Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein’s former “massage scheduler” Sarah Kellen, wife of former NASCAR driver Brian Vickers, reportedly had a “front row seat to the debauchery” and could name names, but she has been saving that information as a potential “get out of jail free card” if needed.
