After going viral for her reaction to Chris Brown being nominated at the MTV VMAs, Selena Gomez doubled down on her unveiled disgust in an Instagram comment.

Responding to a video of her reacting to Brown being nominated at the long-running award show, the 31-year-old pop star simply wrote “Who cares lol”, further refusing to pretend to have any goodwill towards Brown, who infamously assaulted Rihanna.

In addition to her reaction to Brown’s nomination, Gomez also went viral for a variety of other reasons, such as hanging out with her BFF Taylor Swift and her reaction to Olivia Rodrigo’s planned stage malfunction.

Earlier this summer, Gomez was seen starring in the third season of Hulu’s hit comedy series Only Murders in the Building. In addition to returning stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, season three also featured Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd.

Gomez also released the first single off of her upcoming new album, “Single Soon”. In recent days, however, the song has been mysteriously removed from streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

At this time, Gomez has not released the name of her upcoming album — although she has been referring to it as “SG3” — or announced the release date.

In addition to her acting and music career, Gomez — who got her start as a young actress on series such as Barney & Friends and the Disney channel show The Wizards of Waverly Place — is generally one of the most famous celebrities in the world, as her 429 million followers on Instagram is behind only the original Instagram business account, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi.

Next year, Gomez will be making her return to the big screen when she features alongside Guardians of the Galaxy and Avatar star Zoe Saldana in the Jacques Audiard-directed musical comedy Emilia Perez, which does not have an official release date at this time.
