Among the many celebrities with Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game a few weeks ago was Shawn Levy, director of films such as Night at the Museum, Free Guy, and the upcoming Deadpool 3.

In addition to Swift and Levy, Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds and his BFF Hugh Jackman, who will be playing Wolverine in Deadpool 3, were also in tow, leading fans to speculate about whether or not she has a role in the film.

During a recent interview ahead of the release of his new Netflix series All The Light We Cannot See, Levy was asked about Swift potentially being in the project and the veteran filmmaker played it perfectly coy.

“They sure are loud,” Levy said of Swift fans clamoring for her to play the musical mutant. “I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.” [via The Wrap]

While Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on Friday, May 3, Levy also recently stated that its release is currently in jeopardy due to the ongoing actors’ strike, which began when Deadpool 3 had just begun filming earlier this summer.

In addition to Reynolds, Jackman, and maybe Swift, Deadpool 3  is set to star Owen Wilson, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Jennifer Garner, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapičić, Rob Delaney, Matthew Macfadyen, and even a rumored cameo from Ben Affleck as Daredevil.
