Adam Sandler hosted Saturday Night Live this week and brought back some familiar faces. The Sand Man resurrected some of his greatest characters from his movies and SNL.

In a sketch titled “Sandler Family Reunion,” Adam’s “relatives” turn out to be the inspiration for his unique sing-songy talking style and characters from his movies such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, Water Boy, The Wedding Singer and Big Daddy. The skit features surprise cameos by Jimmy Fallon and Kristen Wiig.

Sandler played Joe Romano, the head of Romano Tours, which is a parody of those travel agents such as Perillo Tours.

Then there was the Last Call sketch with a Lady and the Tramp moment and a lot of gratuitous licking.

In “War Zone Reporter,” Sandler is a lieutenant in a militia attempting to take over the city of Tripoli. The war zone reporter uses his phone to give live updates from the battle, but his Snapchat app keeps putting on silly filters during the very serious situation.

Finally, Sandler is a dad who has a heart-to-heart with his son about erectile dysfunction. The commercial is for Rectix, a “pill” for male enhancement that you shove up your butt to get a stiffy.
