Stephen A., Booger, And Mike Greenberg Accidentally Recreated The Obama Dap Sketch From ‘Key & Peele’

ESPN/Comedy Central

If you’re reading this article, then odds are you watch ESPN quite frequently. And if you regularly watch ESPN, then you also know that Stephen A. Smith was on vacation for the entirety of last week.

Love him or hate him, Stephen A. is undoubtedly ESPN’s biggest star, as the company recently gave him a $10 million per year contract, which makes him both the highest-paid person at ESPN and the highest-paid personality in sports media and journalism.

So, when Stephen A. makes his first appearance after his week-long vacation, you need to “stop everything”, which is exactly what Get Up did during the final hour of their Monday show.

The only problem is they unknowingly and hilariously walked themselves directly into the sun of the internet, becoming the meme of the day.

Seems eerily familiar, doesn’t it?

We probably should have seen this coming, though, as you literally could not find two employees at ESPN who are more different than Stephen A. and Greeny. Stephen A. probably has more in common with Will Cain than he does with Greeny.

Just imagine these two at a backyard barbeque: Greeny wouldn’t even be able to finish saying “would you like some mayo and dairy-free cheese on your hamburger?” before Stephen A. slapped him silly.

“Hey, Stephen A., would you like a White Claw?” Greeny, whose wearing his Rolex by the pool and socks with his sandals, asks.

“Excuseeeeeee me, a WHAT?!” Stephen A. incredulously responds before kicking Greeny off the grill and taking control.

ESPN: where life imitates art … that was imitating life.
