Whoops, he did it again. Miss Universe pageant host Steve Harvey is back in the news for another blunder involving the announcement of a winner during the telecast.

No, he didn’t announce the wrong winner of the pageant this time like he did in 2015

This time he just ran into some trouble with revealing who the winner of one of the categories was on Sunday night.

When a photo of Miss Philippines was shown on the screen that’s who Harvey announced was the winner of the National Costume category of the Miss Universe 2019 pageant, much to the surprise of Miss Malaysia Shweta Sekhon, who was standing right next to him in her costume.

“It’s not Philippines. It’s Malaysia,” she told him.

After being corrected (again), Harvey looked like he’d just about had enough, saying, “Let me explain something to you. I just read that in the teleprompter. Ya’ll got to quit doing this to me. I can read. Now, they are trying to fix it now. See? This is what they did to me back in 2015 – played me short like that. This is Malaysia.”

That isn’t even the best part, however.

Turns out Harvey wasn’t even wrong. Miss Philippines Gazini Ganados did in fact win the National Costume category.

Not that everyone noticed. Many were too captivated with his amazing suit and his very poor taste cartel joke to Miss Colombia Gabriela Tafur Náder (his second Colombian cartel joke of the evening).

On the plus side, Harvey did announce the correct over all winner at the end of the evening, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi.
