Whether it be the story of her character or the caliber of her acting, Sydney Sweeney has been catching tons of backlash for the third and final season of Euphoria.
Over the weekend, the second episode of Euphoria season 3 premiered and featured Sydney Sweeney’s character Cassie Howard dressed up as a baby to sell adult content, in addition to doing full frontal dressed as a baseball umpire and covering her privates in ice cream. There is also a shot of her wearing nothing but wet see-through American flag.
Beyond the storyline, Sweeney’s actual performance is also getting ripped on social media, with one viral tweet derogatorily comparing her to Gal Gadot — who has essentially become synonymous with stiff acting among movie and TV fans.

It’s been a tough couple weeks for Sweeney’s career, as it was also reported that her cameo was cut from The Devil Wears Prada 2 due to “creative reasons.” Netflix did announce earlier this week, however, that production on Gundam — which she’s starring in alongside Noah Centineo — has begun.
In the coming years, Sweeney is attached to projects such as Custom of the Country, Scandalous!, Split Fiction, I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl, and a sequel to The Housemaid — the latter of which became the highest-grossing film of her career following its release late last year.
