Sydney Sweeney continues to wisely raise her profile in various ways, this time by featuring in the music video for The Rolling Stones’ new song “Angry.”
In the music video, Sweeney is dressed as a classic rock and roll pinup girl as she rides on the back of a retro red Mercedes convertible through the streets of Los Angeles.
The song is the first single off of The Rolling Stones’ upcoming new album Hackney Diamonds, which will be released on Friday, October 20.
As for Sweeney, she’ll next be seen starring in the rom-com Anyone But You alongside Glen Powell, which is currently scheduled to release sometime this year. That film could be delayed, though, given the ongoing actors and writers strikes in Hollywood.
Then, in February, Sweeney will star as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman in the Sony Spider-Man Universe film Madame Web, which features Dakota Johnson in the titular role. Sweeney is also attached to a remake of the 60s sci-fi movie Barbarella, Echo Valley, and Immaculate.
Sweeney also stars in Euphoria as Cassie Howard– which, so far, has been her career-defining role — however, it’s unclear when the third season of that series will be hitting HBO, especially following the diabolical reviews for creator Sam Levinson’s latest series The Idol, which was responsible for the worst reviews in the history of the acclaimed network.
