In 10 years I’m going to tell my children that I met their mother in a bar and they are going to look at me like I have nine heads. They won’t understand the concept of a face-to-face introduction followed by a verbal conversation resulting in an exchange of contact information. In 2028, there will be an Amazon Prime for the dating market, add to cart, and you’re goody.

New Jersey goaltender Keith Kinkaid and country singer/huge Devils fan Taylor Acorn are a catalyst for this movement.

Following the club’s 3-2 victory over the Predators in Nashville earlier this month, Kinkaid took a photo with the upcoming country musician.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
