‘The Matrix 4’ Is Currently Filming Some Legitimately INSANE Stunts In San Francisco

Earlier this month, I brought you some generally inconsequential videos from the set of The Matrix 4 that saw Keanu Reeves’ make his long-awaited return as Neo.

While nothing of note actually happened in those videos, it was simply dope to see Reeves’ return to the role that made him an international star 20 years prior.

That said, what you’re about to see could not be more different. What you’re about to see is the legit opposite of Keanu Reeves simply standing on a street corner.

What you’re about to see — and spoiler alert, I suppose, although I’m really just speculating and my guess is as good as yours — appears to be the stunt doubles for Reeves and his co-star Carrie-Anne Moss jumping off of the top of a fucking building in typical Matrix fashion.

The video alone is all the marketing The Matrix 4 needs to do — that’s it, I’m sold. In fact, this video has got me so hyped that I may roast an astronomical bone after work and dive into the trilogy all over again.

The still-untitled fourth film in The Matrix franchise, which will be directed by Lana Wachowski and will see Carrie-Anne Moss return alongside Reeves, is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on Friday, May 21, 2021.

In addition to Reeves and Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra, and Andrew Caldwell are set to star in the film.
