If you have an iPhone and run iOS 14 then here’s a tip about taking selfies that has blown the minds of hundreds of thousands of people on TikTok.

The problem, as many of you know, is that when you take a selfie with your iPhone, the image always comes out appearing like you are looking in a mirror.

Annoying, right?

Well, TikTok user @taliamar made a video which has now been viewed more than 1.3 million times that shows just how simple this is to fix.

“Hi, so, you know how all of us collectively take all of our selfies on Snapchat or on Instagram stories because we all look ugly in the Apple camera because it flips our photos?” she says in the video.

“You can turn that feature off,” she whispers to the camera, followed by a very loud Monica Geller-esque, “I know!”

She then shows how it’s done by going into your iPhone’s settings, find the Camera setting, locate the “mirror front camera” feature, and, wait for it… turn that off.

“It’s off by default,” she says, “It’s so easy to do and I don’t know how no one talks about this.”

Apparently not, because she’s gotten almost 270,000 likes on her TikTok video and over 5,800 comments.

Viewers were gobsmacked that it was that simple and the fact that they had no idea before seeing her video.

“WAIT… Oh my God. [On my way] to settings,” wrote one viewer.

“I’ve been bamboozled OMGG,” commented another.

Other viewers called her every thing from “a life saver” and “queen” to “game changer” and “absulute legend.”

“My life has new meaning now,” added another viewer.
