Everyone loves a good time travel story. Who wouldn’t want to see what’s happening in the future? Or visit some historic moment in the past?

The problem is that as great as the stories may be, time travel isn’t real… right?

The reason for that question is because one man, TikTok user Javier (@unicosobreviviente), has racked up an impressive 8.2 million followers with videos he claims were taken in the future.

He claims that the videos on his social media accounts, where his username translates to “lone survivor,” were taken in the year 2027.

Even more unusual is the fact that he also claims that he is one of the only human beings left on the planet.

“I come from 2027 and I am alone in the world,” he states on his Instagram bio.

The supposed time traveler has shared dozens of videos of himself all alone in supermarkets, soccer stadiums, and historical landmarks.

Javier has taken video of empty buildings and roads in places like London, Spain and Paris.

In his videos we see Emirates Stadium, Stamford Bridge, the National Gallery, and the Houses of Parliament all bereft of people.

In Spain, Javier visited an empty Atlético de Madrid stadium at night.

The Mirror reports that he has even claimed to have stolen the Mona Lisa from the Louvre in France and broken into Lionel Messi’s home in France.

The supposed time traveler has also visited an empty Vatican.

While many doubt he is actually filming these videos from the future, there is at least one case where the mystery of a time traveler has never been solved.

On April 23, 2006, a man named Sergei Ponomarenko gained the attention of authorities in Kyiv, Ukraine when claimed to have used time travel to appear there straight from the year 1958.

He would later disappear without a trace from a room with bars on the windows and was never heard from again.

So is time travel possible? It might be, in the future.

Just last year, one scientist proved “paradox-free” time travel is theoretically possible, while another set of scientists successfully simulated time travel using “quantum entanglement manipulation.”

Maybe we just haven’t figure it out yet.

It certainly would provide at least one explanation for many of the recent UFO sightings.
