Tinder has mostly been known as a casual hook-up tool, but the dating app is attempting to create an atmosphere that produces long-lasting relationships with the roll-out of a new experience. Next month, Tinder is releasing a new feature called Swipe Night that gives users the chance to find love through a choose-your-own-adventure experience.

Starting at 6 PM on October 6, Tinder will debut Swipe Night, a “first-of-its-kind, original interactive adventure.” You’ll choose partners to try to stay alive during an “apocalyptic adventure.”

“The Swipe Night story is a first-person, apocalyptic adventure where at key turning points, Tinder members decide what happens to them next,” Tinder’s blog explains. “And their choices dictate more than just the story; they also impact who they match with and what they will chat about once the epic journey ends.”

The choose-your-own-adventure-like aspect is much like the Black Mirror episode Bandersnatch, where users could influence the story based on their decisions.

Every Sunday in October, Tinder will release new episodes of the Swipe Night interactive reality show. In the five-minute episodes that are available for six hours, you’ll lead a group of three friends through what could very well be the end of the world.

“You’ll face moral dilemmas and practical choices, with only seven seconds to decide and no going back,” Tinder said. “After each Swipe Night story release, critical choices will be added to members’ profiles, showing which decisions potential matches did or did not make. And all of this new information will make for plenty of material for post-apocalyptic banter.”

“There’s definitely no wrong answers,” said Tinder product lead Kyle Miller. “It really pulls out who you are, your personality, and your values. We don’t categorize or label by the choices.”

Tinder really has lost hope on you ever finding love. They have to put you in a civilization-ending situation where you could be the last man left on Earth to get a girl to swipe right on you.
