Tommy DeVito is arguably the nation’s favorite quarterback. But one TikToker’s alleged encounter with him on a dating app seemed less than pleasant.
The New York Giants quarterback is known for his signature celebration move and just being very Italian in general, but TikToker Sarina Gupta (@guptasarina) allegedly saw a very different side of him.
In the TikTok, which has garnered 238, 100 views, Gupta speaks to the camera with what appears to be a screenshot of a Bumble conversation in the background.
The conversation begins with Gupta purportedly saying, “Hey hey how was your weekend,” followed by “You’ve got a cute smile.”
In response, it appears as if Tommy wrote: “Your t— looked at me first.”
Gupta then responded, “Bold opener there Tommy,” to which Tommy said: “Oops.”
“In honor of all the news about Tommy DeVito right now, here’s a screenshot from my conversation with him on Bumble in 2024,” Gupta said in the video.
“Also, I’m pretty sure that it’s him because it had that blue check mark and you can only get that if you verify yourself with a selfie,” she added.
As she said this, the background changed to a screenshot of DeVito’s purported Bumble profile, which looks verified.
People Were Skeptical
Commenters were torn. Not all of them believed it was him. “Naw he wasn’t 23 in 2024 so idk,” one said, pointing out his age on his profile.
“FYI – you can verify yourself and then swap out all of the pictures…So never just trust a blue checkmark,” a second added.
A third commenter shared their own experience with the sportsman. “My uncle is friends with his family and he was at our Xmas eve one year and I said hi to him and he just stared at me and didn’t say a word,” they remarked.
While a fourth predicted, “This is def after they cut DJ and gave him the starting job, bro was on a high and said why not let it fly. Respect.”
Then a fifth asked, “Why does this matter now?”

Tommy DeVito Celebrates Engagement
Earlier this month, a representative confirmed to People Magazine that DeVito was engaged. He proposed to his girlfriend, Michayla Anja, at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale on July 17.
According to the outlet, he started dating Anja in 2024. So, the timeline of him being on Bumble matches up with the TikTok, depending on when exactly he and his fiancée got together. However, it should be noted that BroBible was unable to independently verify the validity of these screenshots.
