Twitch has a PR nightmare on their hands after they decided to remove Ninja’s old chance to replace it with “recommended channels”.

As you all know popular Fortnite streamer Ninja decided to take his talents exclusively to Twitch’s competitor, Mixer, last week.

Twitch responded by taking Ninja’s channel offline and began recommending some other channels in its place.

Unfortunately for Twitch, the channel that was promoted at the top of the recommendations list was streaming porn.

Ninja took to Twitter to share his disgust at Twitch’s decision to take his channel offline.

“Over the last couple of days, there have been some things going on that we’ve let slide, they were kind of annoying, little jabs, we felt like but it didn’t matter, we want to stay professional,”

Well now, there was a porn account that was number one being recommended on my channel, and I have no say in any of this stuff,” “This is the line. This is the straw. We’re trying to get the whole channel taken down to begin with, or at least not promote other streamers and other channels on my brand, on my freakin’ profile. So for anyone who saw that, for anyone whose kids [saw that], or just obviously didn’t want to see that, I apologize and I’m sorry.”

Twitch eventually revered the channel to its previous state but the damage was already done.
