  • The first trailer for The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent has been released.
  • The film stars Nicolas Cage, who will be playing HIMSELF and recreating some of his most iconic roles.
  • In addition to Cage, the film also stars Pedro Pascal and Tiffany Haddish and will hit theaters on April 22.

Nicolas Cage is back. SO back. After starring in Pig earlier this year — which will hopefully give him an outside shot at an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, an award he won back in the 90s for his work in Leaving Las Vegas — the Oscar-winning actor has since been tapped to star in Universal’s upcoming Dracula movie and is set to feature in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, which will see the infamous actor hilarious play *himself*.

While Cage has certainly been famously busy over the last decade or so –truthfully, he’s been one of the most prolific actors in the industry, starring in a seemingly endless litany of B-movies, ranging from legitimately good to truly awful — his recent run of films suggests he’s finally returning to the mainstream.

In addition to Cage, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent will also star Pedro Pascal, Tiffany Haddish, and Ike Barinholtz. The film will hit theaters in the United States on April 22, 2022.
