Some Company Is Selling Ludicrous Upside Down Jeans That Cost Hundreds Of Dollars Because, Fashion

Apparently, a company called CIE, is selling upside down jeans and shorts, supposedly inspired by Stranger Things, and, you guessed it, they are absolutely ridiculous. (Almost as ridiculous as these Nordstrom jeans covered in fake mud and these other jeans they tried selling with clear knees.)

That doesn’t mean that they are cheap though. On the contrary, these upside down jeans and shorts will run you anywhere from $395 to $495 depending on how much leg is showing.

Discovered by Bloomberg luxury reporter Kim Bhasin, these upside down jeans have got the internet pretty baffled. (Though perhaps not as baffled as the folks at Paris Fashion Week who fell for this guy promoting fake designer jeans.)

CIE says they named this “unique” fashion line after characters from Stranger Things, calling the various styles Nancy, Will, Mike, Maxine, Lucas, and El.

How many people do you think have bought these idiotic pants? Never mind, I really don’t want to know.

Call me old fashioned, but rather than buying some almost $500 upside down jeans with “belt loops that wrap around the ankle, back pockets up the calf and a waistband made from the original ankle hem,” I think I will just stick to these Amazon Prime Day deals on regular ole jeans.
