Vin Diesel posted a very on-brand tribute to Dolly Parton
The entire entertainment world has been mourning the loss of country music icon Dolly Parton, leading to some beautiful tributes from massive stars all across Hollywood. Vin Diesel, of course, had the weirdest one.
At his concert in London, The White Stripes rocker Jack White played “Jolene” for the first time in nearly 20 years. Pitbull also put on a similarly touching tribute at his show in Upstate New York.
Harry Styles paid tribute to Parton during the first night of his string of Madison Square Garden shows, while pop star Kesha also covered one of Parton’s songs at her concert on the night Parton’s passing was announced.

Then there’s Vin Diesel, who decided to share a black-and-white photo of Parton alongside his own cover of her famed hit “I Will Always Love You.”

Parton passed away on August 25 at the age of 80 years old following what her family says was a brief battle with cancer.
She was one of 12 children — six boys and six girls — and grew up in a one-room cabin in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, before leaving for Nashville the day after her high school graduation in 1964.
Beginning with the release of her first album, Hello, I’m Dolly, in 1967, Parton went on to have a six-decade career in the entertainment business that produced more than 3,000 songs, 25 No. 1 country singles, and hit movies such as 9 to 5 and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
Parton’s artistic endeavors and charismatic personality have earned her induction into both the Country Music and Rock & Roll Halls of Fame, the establishment of a theme park in her hometown (Dollywood), and the creation of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a children’s literacy program that has distributed over 300 million books to families worldwide.
