We truly are living in the golden age of television, aren’t we? There are more good shows and movies available now than ever before in history. And it’s all thanks to our favorite online streaming services like HBO Max.

Speaking of that, here’s what’s new on HBO Max and HBO (as well as what’s leaving) during the month of September 2022.

New in September is the streaming premiere of Elvis starring Austin Butler as The King and Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker. Elvis delves into the complex dynamic between the two spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom.

New episodes of House of the Dragon will also debut on Sunday nights throughout the month of September.

Also debuting in September is the four-part documentary series Hostages about the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1979 also debuts, as well as Escape From Kabul about the U.S. withdrawal of its troops from Afghanistan.
