Earlier this week, it was reported that actor Angus Cloud — best known for his work on the hit HBO series Euphoria — had passed away at the age of 25 years old.

In the wake of his untimely passing, two of his Euphoria co-stars — Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney — took to Instagram to remember him.

Zendaya, who shared her remembrance with her 184 million Instagram followers, said that Cloud truly could “light up any room” he walked into.

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it),” Zendaya wrote.

“I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment. My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone.”

Sweeney shared a similar sentiment, saying that Cloud “filled every room with laughter”:

“Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to post, and I’m struggling to find all the words,” Sweeney wrote in an Instagram post that she shared with her 15 million followers.

“You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you.”

On Euphoria, Cloud appeared in 16 of the show’s 18 episodes (so far) as Fezco “Fez” O’Neill, a local drug dealer who has a close relationship with Zendaya’s rue and also builds a bond with Maude Apatow’s Lexi Howard.

At this time, it is unclear what Cloud’s cause of death is. According to reports, Cloud had just attended the funeral of his father a week prior to his death.

In addition to Euphoria, Cloud also had roles in the films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line, a 2023 film that was the last prior to his passing.

Cloud had also booked roles in the horror film Your Lucky Day, an untitled monster film at Universal that was set to be helmed by Scream 6 directors Radio Silence and in the film Freaky Tales alongside Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, and more.

Our thoughts are with Cloud’s friends, family, and various loved ones during this difficult time.
