Woman Goes To Tax Office In Small Texas Town. Then She Sees A ‘Zombie Attack’ Pamphlet: ‘They Know Something We Don’t’

A Texas woman walked into the Johnson County Tax Office in Burleson, Texas, and spotted a wall of information pamphlets. She then spotted one for a “zombie attack” response plan and took it home to show viewers what’s inside.

In a video with over 5.8 million views, TikToker Bellah (@bellahmaree421) shows the other pamphlets on the wall, including information on evictions, constable sales, and more.

Then, she stops on a bright yellow pamphlet that reads, “ZOMBIE ATTACK! Are you prepared?”

On-screen text reads, “Think they know something we don’t.”

In an interview with My San Antonio, the TikToker says she didn’t ask any workers at the tax office about the pamphlet. She said, “There was no employee to talk to. In fact, other than the office I was at to do my registration sticker, there wasn’t any employee to be seen.”

What’s Inside The Zombie Attack Pamphlet?

In a follow-up video, the TikToker opens up the pamphlet to show the information inside.

The inside of the pamphlet contains eye-catching headers like “Are you prepared for a zombie attack?” and “Better safe than sorry.” It provides a list of supplies to keep on hand for survival.

However, taking a closer look, the pamphlet notes that the disaster preparation guide applies to all kinds of situations, like a pandemic or hurricane.

The TikToker realizes that the tax office used a “zombie attack” to get locals’ attention for its disaster preparation information. The back of the brochure lists all the local disaster response and law enforcement phone numbers.

Viewers React To The Pamphlet

In the comments of the viral TikTok, viewers react to the tax office’s creative way to get residents prepared for disaster.

People are probably more likely to prepare for a zombie apocalypse than a hurricane,” one joked.

“I think they’re using zombies to get people to actually pick up a brochure and have the information instead of ignoring it,” a second wrote. “The information is the same for anything. It’s good marketing.”

However, others insisted that the tax office knows something about an impending biological disaster.

Is it just me or does it look like they’re adding the natural disasters part so people don’t write it off right away but it’s rlly about the zombies??” a viewer questioned.

Another remarked, “Ummm it says at the end call your zombie response team??? like I didnt even know we had these?? this world is in hell!! thank you going to start planning for the end of the world smh.”
