“Amy Schumer is our brand new cover star – and we think you’ll agree, she’s the ultimate badass that you’d love to be friends with,” says the UK version of Glamour magazine.
I’m sorry if I offend anyone, but if any part of that statement is true for women out there they really need to rethink their role models.
That out of the way, during her interview as their “brand new cover” star Schumer decided to drop a little nugget on everyone about her sex life with boyfriend Ben Hanisch.
On whether there is any danger of her happiness jeopardising her comedy material:
“Um, well, I’m never that happy…I can be happy, and funny stuff also happens; I don’t think I’m like that. I went down on Ben this morning and he yawned – it was an accident, but we were both just dying laughing. I’m happy, but obviously I was like, “Fuck you.” … When I’m down there, if it’s more than a minute, it’s his birthday or something. But this morning it just happened – and then he yawned and it was a great excuse to stop.”
First off…
Second, was he laughing to hide the tears?
Third, “When I’m down there, if it’s more than a minute, it’s his birthday or something?”
Why this man hasn’t locked her down with a wedding ring yet is astounding, no?
Oh, wait, there’s more.
Schumer also mentioned during the interview that she never wanted to be famous.
Really?

“No, I did not ever want to be famous, honestly. It didn’t occur to me until it was already happening. The fame aspect is not something that appealed to me at all. And I was really kind of terrified of it. I wouldn’t trade it to wait tables or whatever. I live my life, I’m grateful for everything. It’s mostly just really annoying. And distracting. And embarrassing for everyone. And I’m conscious for the people I’m with. Now when I go outside, I get photographed by the paparazzi. I’m not to the level of some people – some actresses where it’s constant tabloids – but it’s enough that it’s really uncomfortable.”
