Disney Going All ‘Westworld’ By Opening Completely Immersive ‘Star Wars’-Themed Resort

Only days ago we got a glimpse of the upcoming 14-acre “Star Wars” theme parks that are currently being constructed at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Now we get details on a “Star Wars”-themed resort that Disney is creating at Disney World that sounds like a Jedi-inspired version of “Westworld,” minus the brothel, sadly.

Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, revealed that the “Star Wars”-inspired hotel will be a completely immersive experience where guests get their own storyline that is accessible 24 hours a day. Chapek introduced the exciting Disney 360 vacation concept that is part of Disney World’s upcoming “Galaxy’s Edge” area, which is dedicated to Star Wars experiences.

“It’s unlike anything that exists today. From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars story! You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire. Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, stories, and adventures that unfold all around you. It is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits.”

FUCK YES!!!

The hotel will be the starship and every window will appear as though you are looking out into a galaxy far, far away. You’ll dress up in “Star Wars,” complete missions where you could earn intergalactic credits based on your performance, and interact with aliens. Some of which may be bounty hunters who will chase you throughout the park. I sure hope you can start a bar fight with an alien Rodian at the cantina. I’d definitely shoot first.
