We are a cool 16 days away from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hitting the big screen and expanding the Star Wars universe to lengths we could’ve never imagined. In addition to being the second new Star Wars film in two years it’s also the second Star Wars film to feature a female lead protagonist.
The sexy and immensely talented Felicity Jones (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Theory of Everything, Inferno) will take the lead role in Rogue One and for this role she had to learn Kung Fu. This isn’t The Matrix, she’s not Keanu Reeves even if they’re both playing similar character arcs, and she had to learn Kung Fu the old fashioned way by getting beaten up by a Kung Fu master until she got it right.
Appearing on Fallon last night, Felicity Jones showed off her newly acquired Kung Fu skills and scared the piss out of Jimmy who repeatedly asked her to do everything in slow motion but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
