Jimmy Fallon And Jack Black Recreated Extreme’s ‘More Than Words’ Music Video To Fantastic Results

I was 7 or 8 years old when the “More Than Words” music video exploded the entire fucking universe and rocked every chick’s world. When it dropped, babes couldn’t get enough of these two long-haired freaks. But if memory serves, Extreme (See: the name of the band that those freaks belonged to) was a one hit wonder. Oh, but what a hit it was!

“More than Words” came out at a really weird time in music. The monster ballads and corniness of 80s (which this song embodied) was about to being replaced by grunge. Perhaps that’s why Extreme never made it. Or maybe they never made it because one of the aforementioned long-haired freaks died in a hair-related escalator accident. I haven’t the slightest idea. What I do know, however, is that I’ve never been in a crowded room or bar that hasn’t turned into a singalong when this song came on. There’s just something about it that make people belt it out like it’s still the hottest shit on the air waves.

Since you will all be hurrying to watch the original, I have embedded it below. As you will see, Jimmy Fallon and Jack Black pretty much nailed it.

After I finished watching the original, YouTube put on “November Rain.” Then they threw a 90 mph fastball right at my dick and connected, hitting me with this collection of noise pollution.
