Making A Murderer caused a craze that few have ever seen in their lives. When I watched it, I almost threw my TV out the window. My girlfriend wept streams of tears. We almost couldn’t function following the conclusion. There HAS to be a Season 2, right? Has to. Rumors swirled we’d see a second season back in late February. Welp, Netflix has done us all a solid and announced there will be more episodes of the documentary series, but, no details on number of episodes or premiere date.
However, Variety reports that the new season will feature Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey’s challenge of their convictions for the murder of Teresa Halbach led by Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner – whom you might remember dismantled the prosecution’s case on Twitter (video below) – and Dassey’s team of Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin.
This news comes after it was announced super cool dad-lawyer Dean Strang would be getting his own TV show.
There have been hundreds, if not thousands, of theories about what happened, but my money’s on Bobby Dassey and Scott Tadych.
