The Rock’s Rant About His ‘Candy Ass’ Co-Stars On ‘Fast 8’ Was Reportedly Aimed Directly At Vin Diesel

Yesterday our intrepid blogger Douglas told you about how The Rock had lashed out on his Instagram account, accusing some of his male co-stars on the set of Fast 8 for being, quote, “chicken shit” and “candy asses.” Strong words from a dude whose mantra is basically “positivity, OR ELSE.”

But it got people talking – who was being a chicken shit candy ass? Who had pissed off The Rock enough that he felt he needed to post on Instagram about it? Is this whole thing just manufactured bullshit for the sake of publicity (probably, as I’m of the opinion that fake drama is easier to get published widely in the tabloids – hence why I only half believe that Jared Leto did any of the twisted shit his co-stars said he did on the set of Suicide Squad, and even if he DID actually do all of it it’s not like it helped the movie not suck horse cock)?

According to production sources via TMZ, the drama is supposedly real, and the actor who wound up clashing with Dwayne was none other than Vin Diesel himself:

We’re told The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because V.D. is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ.

Our sources say The Rock and Vin had a meeting on the Atlanta set mid-day Tuesday … partly because tensions were running so high it was almost impossible to shoot scenes. We do not know if they resolved their issues.

Frankly, I’m sort of bummed it’s Vin Diesel. All our bets were on pretty boy Scott Eastwood, partially because of nepotism, and partially because it’s easy to make the assumption that Clint Eastwood’s son would be an entitled douche.

Various reports have mentioned, however, that Clint’s son was one of the only (if not THE only) cast member who refrained from retreating to his trailer after filming a scene, explaining that his father had always advised him to stick around and see what could be learned. “I’m on this ‘Fast and the Furious’ movie right now, and everyone goes back to their trailer” he said, “I stick around and say, ‘Why are you setting up the shot like this?’ I want to learn.”

Regardless of the pissing contest between The Rock and Vin, the entire cast is reportedly pissed that The Rock was intentionally vague in his rant and made the entire cast look bad, just a week and a half before filming ends.

What do you think – was The Rock being a little bitch, or is Vin Diesel secretly 007 Douchebag? Let us know in the comments!
