The Beatles First Ever Live TV Performance And ‘Jaws’ Hit Theaters: This Day In History, June 20th

A wise man once said, ‘If you don’t know history, you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree.’ Don’t be that leaf bro. Take a second to recognize that tree. Acknowledge history. Be thankful for what’s come before us. Today in history: arguably the greatest band ever assembled gave the world their first ever live performance, Jaws premiered in theaters and would soon after be recognized as a watershed moment in motion picture history, and you mom fucked your dad on this day back in 1976. Those young and crazy kids.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
