Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice was one of the celebrities allegedly hacked revealing nude photos of themselves – a fact she denied and actually proved pretty well when saying they were fakes. So why is she pursuing legal action?
Justice’s first tweet on the subject of The Fappening was quite clear…
These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*

She even retweeted a fan tweet showing that one of the photos was indeed definitely fake…

So why last night did Justice feel the need to try to get the law involved?

Here’s what she writes…
Shortly after I tweeted about certain pics of me being fake, I was faced with a serious violation of privacy. There have always been fake photos of me on the internet, but I will not be put in the position to defend myself as to what is real or what is fake. I am angry at this massive invasion of privacy, and like the other women who are in this situation alongside of me, I am taking legal action to protect my rights.
A curious take to say the least considering the photos of her were fake, right?
It’s important to note though that it was a little over a year ago that Justice was ACTUALLY HACKED and had photos leaked on to the Internet; photos that were tamer than pretty much 90% of what appears on every other young woman’s Instagram account, but she WAS hacked nonetheless.
Perhaps that’s why she’s taking legal action now? I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing about it.
