WWE referee Charles Robinson suffered a horrific injury on Friday before a live event in Saudi Arabia.
While setting up the ring before the event, Robinson sliced his thumb and almost lost the digit. Resident WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann is on tour and was able to attend to the injury in time.
Robinson posted a pic of the thumb injury to Twitter along with a photo of Dr. Amann stitching up the thumb. To Amann’s left is registered nurse, Golddust.
In all, Robinson needed six stitches, and even worked the show. This is good news for the senior WWE referee.
Hopefully Robinson made all three-counts by slamming his uninjured hand against the canvas.
