VIDEO: Five People Shot At A Club During A Chris Brown Concert In California

Pandemonium unfolded at a nightclub in San Jose, California last night when a gunman shot five people while Chris Brown was on the stage. Via SF Gate:

The shooting happened near the Fiesta nightclub on Monterey Street and Rancho Drive about 1:20 a.m.
Paramedics took four victims, most of whom were shot in the arms or legs, to area hospitals. A fifth victim showed up at a hospital.

The victims, whose names weren’t released, were expected to survive. Police reportedly detained several people in the case.

Brown was at the nightclub for a “Capricorn Bash” birthday party that also featured from the KMEL radio station, according to online promotional materials. Videos posted online show Brown, 25, on stage when gunfire erupts, prompting security to whisk the singer to safety.

Brown was not hurt and later posted a message on Twitter that read, “I’m 100.”

Brown doesn’t seem to be involved with the shooting since he’s clearly on stage when it goes down. But I can’t help but wonder… How is it possible that trouble follows this man literally wherever he goes? Something very similar happened at his pre-VMAs party in August, where Suge Knight was shot. It amazes me that clubs and people who throw parties are still willing to risk the liability of inviting Brown to perform.
