Because the world has gone cuckoo for comic books lately The CW has now produced a series based on The Flash to go along with it’s already successful series based on the Green Arrow. Check out the first trailer.
As you will see both shows will take place in the same world at the same time, with perhaps some interaction between the two characters. Grant Gustin plays The Flash, aka Barry Allen, with Danielle Panabaker (yay!), Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh making the bulk of the rest of the cast.

The show’s description: After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel.
