Wild Turkey Sherry Cask Finished Master’s Keep Revival

things we want

C. Anderson

Earlier this month, Wild Turkey debuted the Master’s Keep Revival, the third U.S. expression of the Master’s Keep from Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell. To say that this exquisite bourbon will blow you away is an understatement. It’s crafted from Wild Turkey Bourbon aged 12-15 years and finished in 20-year-old Oloroso Sherry casks which is a nod to the Wild Turkey Sherry Signature limited-release that Wild Turkey’s Jimmy Russell introduced in the early 2000’s which features a 10-year-old Wild Turkey finished in the same Oloroso sherry casks. Only this expression is aged even longer and comes out as pure perfection.

The blend of 12-15 year whiskies finished in Oloroso Shery Casks comes in at 101 proof on the Master’s Keep Revival. It has a nose of cherry, citrus, notes, raisins, and oak. To the taste, it offers sweet tropical fruits, notes of honey, spice, and dried apricots. Only 1,600 cases of this are available for a limited time nationally and each bottle will retail for $149.99. If you’re going to treat yourself to a bottle in this price range at any point this Summer you should 100% consider the Master’s Keep Revival.

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO by Scaglietti ($40 Million)

If you’ve got $40 million to spend on one of the rarest, most beautiful Ferraris ever built then BOY DO I HAVE THE CAR FOR YOU. The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO by Scaglietti is currently up for auction on RMSothebys and goodness gracious is this car sexy.

Perhaps the ultimate collector car, Ferrari’s 250 GTO was effectively the final evolution of the marque’s famous 250 model, which debuted in 1953 and ended with the last GTOs in 1964. In total, a mere 36 examples of the 250 GTO were ever produced, all of which have survived. Widely considered the most beautiful Ferrari design, the model was one of the most successful road/racing cars that the marque ever built, claiming overall victory or 1st in class in nearly 300 races worldwide. Decades down the road, the Ferrari 250 GTO has become the car collector’s “holy grail,” thanks not only to its incredible pedigree, but to a group of French collectors who organized the first gathering of GTO owners in 1982. Occurring every five years since its inception, the meeting is a glorious driving and dining tour across the country of their choosing, and the only entry into this exclusive club is ownership, making the GTO the hottest ticket in the collector car world.

Between 1953 and 1964 only 250 of these cars were made so it’s one of the rarest collector’s items on the planet. You can check out more pictures of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO by Scaglietti by following the link below to RMSotheby‘s website, and if you’ve got tens of millions to drop on a car you can put in your bid!

TRIWA x HUMANIUM METAL Watch Made From Illegal Guns Taken Off The Streets

Triwa Humanium Metal Watch

Kickstarter

It’s rare that I ever cover a Kickstarter item on here but this one’s really cool for several reasons I felt compelled to share it with you dudes. First and foremost, this watch is gorgeous. It’s in that perfect zone where you can wear it with a variety of outfits from casual to formal and it will look great. Secondly, this watch is made using Humanium Metal which is the destructed metal from illegal firearms taken off the streets in conflict regions around the world.

Not only does each watch made from Humanium Metal mean that illegal guns are taken off the streets (making them safer), but a portion of the funds from each sale is circled back into the region where these illegal firearms were removed from the streets and melted down, and that money goes toward supporting the victims of armed violence.

New Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit Colorways

Nike is, as always, at it again, adding a new colorway or two to one of their most popular styles of sneakers. Back in March they unveiled a couple of new looks for their Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit shoe in white/racer blue and black/white that were so popular that one of the two pairs is already sold out. Which might explain why they are back so soon with even more color choices including a brand new deep royal blue/fuchsia flash color combination after just releasing a “Camo Sunset” colorway for the Air Max 270 Flyknit in May.

This iteration of the Air Max 270 boasts a royal blue Flyknit toe box, a fuschia midfoot and heel collar, a teal heel Air unit (Nike’s biggest to date) and detailing, with a black Swoosh and a white midsole, creating a colorful summertime silhouette.
