Booker’s ‘Granny’s Batch’ – First Batch of 2020

I think a lot of people are in need of a stiff drink after what was probably the craziest news week of the past several decades. This weekend, and on many nights to come, I’ll be indulging in the first Booker’s Bourbon Batch Release of 2020: Granny’s Batch.
Booker’s Bourbon releases four batches each year and I look forward to these expressions as much if not more than anything on the annual Bourbon calendar. Granny’s Batch is 126.4 proof (63.20% alcohol), and is aged 6 years, 4 months, and 21 days. It’s available now nationwide in limited quantities at $89.99 if you can find it, and if you do find it I highly suggest picking up a bottle!
Cass Anderson
This barrel-strength bourbon is named after 6th generation master distiller Booker Noe’s mom, Margaret Beam Noe. Known in the Beam family as Granny Noe, she was the youngest child of Jim Beam and she was instrumental in getting her oldest son Booker a job in the distillery where he’d go on to become a master distiller and create his namesake Booker’s Bourbon.
This expression has a light chestnut color and the barrel-strength bourbon is best enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water, or over ice. It carries hints of vanilla on the nose that hangs there for a while as you appreciate the aroma and it has a strong wood flavor as you drink it down. Hank Sauce Variety Pack Of Unique Hot Sauces
Life is much more enjoyable when you’re eating good food. Dieting is great when you need to get your diet/body in order but eating bland food is not a good way to go through life. Personally, I turn into a bit of an asshole if I’m forced to eat the same meal for a few days in a row.
