With that said, here are some helpful tips to help you make the most of your Independence Day grilling:
1. Buy more burgers and hot dogs than anyone could conceivably eat.
You got such a good deal on the bigger packs that you couldn’t resist. Plus, you were planning on eating at least three burgers and at least six hot dogs on your own. Whatever you don’t eat will end up in your freezer for your next backyard barbecue…or lunch every day for the next six weeks.
2. Give everything a beer bath…even when it doesn’t make sense.
Makes you look like you know what you’re doing beyond “throw the meat on the fire.” Helps to have some cheap light beer in the cooler for this, so that you don’t have to waste your crowler from the brewery.
3. Don’t let anyone help you at the grill so that you don’t have to mingle.
