Well, if you’ve got yourself a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk you’ll get to the airport in the blink of an eye because this massively upgraded Sport Utility Vehicle fucks.
Hennessey Performance wasn’t satisfied with the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 with 707 horsepower that was already in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk so they upgraded it to the modified HPE1200 engine and a 4.5-liter supercharger system that pumps out a neck-snapping 1,003 horsepower and 892 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough power to make this SUV quicker than a Bugatti Chiron that goes 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.
The Texas-based car performance house is known for making ridiculously fast cars, but now it has the esteemed title of creating the fastest SUV. If you heard that a vehicle went from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, you’d immediately imagine a hypercar such as a Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911 Turbo S or a McLaren 720S, but it is actually the mind-blowing performance of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which is actually quicker than all of those supercars. The previous model of Hennessey’s Trackhawk posted a turtle-esque 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds.
Hennessey’s suped-up Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk throttles from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.3 seconds flat. That’s absolutely bonkers. The HP JGC Trackhawk smashes through a quarter-mile in an eye-blinking 9.66 seconds and tops out at 145 mph. All while comfortably transporting four passengers and enough room to haul 19 grocery bags of Whole Foods.

This land rocket ship sits on 20-inch Nitto drag radials and there’s even a kill-switch for the all-wheel drive system so you can smoke the rear tires til your heart’s content.

Hennessey Performance will only make 24 of these masterpieces and you had better bring your platinum credit card because the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will cost $179,000, which is $86,000 more than the “regular” Trackhawk. Still, imagine toasting a Ferrari LaFerrari off the line and seeing the shocked look of the other driver’s face? Priceless.
