This Track-Only McLaren Senna GTR Hypercar Is One Of The Most Badass Vehicles On The Planet

Earlier this year, McLaren unveiled their sick new McLaren Senna hypercar, basically a street-legal race car, and it was so badass that all 500 of them that were made sold out at a price tag of $1 million each.

Then, a month later, McLaren Special Operations announced they had created a carbon fiber McLaren Senna that is the kind of car Batman would own, you know, if he were a real person.

Now, not satisified with those two options, McLaren is in the midst of testing a new Senna GTR track-only hypercar that that it will generate 2,205 lbs of downforce and have race-bred suspension developed from the system used in McLaren’s GT3 program.

The new McLaren Senna GTR will produce an eye-watering 825 hp and 590 lb-ft torque using a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine.

The Senna GTR is an even more extreme version of the road-legal McLaren Senna currently being built at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, Surrey, UK. McLaren tested demand for the track-only, left-hand-drive only car on its introduction at Geneva, saying that up to 75 would be produced. Many more expressions of interest were received, but the company has confirmed that only 75 will be available, all of which are already allocated. Deliveries are expected to begin from September 2019 when production of the road-legal McLaren Senna is complete.
