Pope Francis Is Auctioning Off His Dope Custom One-Of-A-Kind Lamborghini Huracán
Pope Francis is auctioning off his sick 573-horsepower custom Lamborghini Huracán, which, you’ll never believe it, is in “virtually as-new condition.”
The Lamborghini Huracán RWD, which was donated to the Pope, was produced by Ad Personam, the company’s customization department. It is painted Bianco Monocerus (white) with Giallo Tiberino (yellow) stripes that run along the body in homage to the colors of the flag of Vatican City.
Hard to believe his Holiness never opened ‘er up, putting that 573 horsepower, V-10 engine to proper use on the roads around the Vatican. (It can reach a top speed of 198 mph.)
The auction will be held on May 12th and hosted by Sotheby’s.
Riding on diamond-finished 20-in. Giano wheels covering Nero callipers, the car is trimmed within in Bianco Leda Sportivo leather, with Lamborghini crests adorning the headrests. The final touch was added by the Pope himself, who signed the bonnet of the car upon seeing it for the first time. Presented in virtually as-new condition, the Huracán has remained in static storage since being produced in late 2017.
Benefitting a quartet of deserving charities all near and dear to Pope Francis’ heart, the sale of this Huracán represents a unique opportunity to acquire a wholly unique Lamborghini while giving back to worthy causes in the name of His Holiness.
The Pope’s Lamborghini Huracán is expected to fetch $300,000 to $420,000 at auction, which frankly, considering it being one-of-a-kind with literally no miles on it, sounds like a steal.
Heck, Pope Francis even autographed it! Anyone want to go halfsies?
