Versatility with Weight Selection

When building out a fully customized pocket knife from Deejo, the first order of business is deciding the weight of the knife from 3 different options:

  • 15g (7cm closed)
  • 27g (9cm closed)
  • 37g (11cm closed)

I personally opted for the 27g when building my gift blades because I felt it was the happy medium that would work best as a gift. I figured most people already have some sort of mini pocket knife, so I went for something bigger. At the same time, I didn’t want to go too big and sacrifice some of the versatility and portability.

Tattoos for the Blade

Once you’ve figured out which weight option works best as a gift for the people in your life, it’s time for the best AND the hardest part—selecting a tattoo design for the blade. This is where Deejo stands out from all the other personalized knives out there. They’ve innovated beyond the traditional blade by offering tattoos that give each blade a unique identity.

What’s so hard about picking a tattoo? Well, Deejo offers over 70 tattoo designs ranging from intricate patterns to a diverse set of images including animals, musical notes, and nature. Narrowing it down to just a single tattoo design is by means no easy task. But that’s also what’s so great about it. With so many different options to choose from, there’s bound to be a design that connects to whoever you’re gifting it to.

Ski Tattoo

In the end, I went with a winter-themed tattoo depicting a skier shredding some slopes (shown above). Considering the incoming cold weather and the gift recipient’s love for the sport, I don’t think I could’ve found a better match.

The Ultimate Personalization Option

So you might be thinking, “If there’s a limited number of preset tattoo designs, as well as limits to other customizable options, then technically it isn’t a one-of-a-kind pocket knife.”

Well, that’s because I haven’t finished yet. Deejo gives you the option to add your own personalized text onto the handle of the knife. It doesn’t get more personalized than that.

You can help your gift recipient maintain ownership over such an amazing knife by adding their name to the handle—that’s what I did. And who doesn’t like seeing their own name on their possessions.

Personalized Text

Or if you think they’d prefer something less glaring, add an important date. And with 35 characters of space, you can even add a small message with some special meaning. Still can’t think of anything that would stand out in particular? A simple ‘Happy Holidays! Love, Sean’ does just the trick. But obviously using your own name, not mine. Unless your name is also Sean, in which case —kudos man, what a great name!

Customization You Can Handle

Now that you’ve got a majority of the customized pocket knife built, it’s time to start putting the finishing touches together. That starts with the handle. For the people in your life who enjoy a bit of pizzaz and like a flashier style, Deejo has some eye-catching gold handle options. But don’t worry, they’ve got something for the more reserved as well. Here’s the full list of handle options provided:

  • Coralwood
  • Ebony
  • Juniper wood
  • Olive tree
  • Carbon fiber
  • Turtle Shells
  • Yellow Gold Gilded
  • White Gold Gilded (Palladium)
  • Pink Gold Gilded

Finish Building the Perfect Holiday Gift

You’re now onto the final step in completing a gift that could have you labeled as best gift giver in the family for years to come. All you’ve got left is to pick between mirror, grey titanium, or black titanium for the finishing touch.

Who knew holiday gift shopping could be so easy? Once you’ve got all your customization picked out, feel free to scan over the knife one last time and bask in all its glory. Then, Deejo will have it shipped in less than 48 hours!
