Daou Vineyards ‘Soul of a Lion’ Cabernet
I wanted to share a truly exquisite wine with you gentelmen today, the DAOU 2017 Estate Soul of a Lion. DAOU Vinedards describes this as a ‘balance, elegent, and rich wine’ with ‘smooth and silky tannins’ which integrate perfectly with the fruit for an extended finish. This wine is named after the Daou Brothers’ father who ‘carried strength, integrity and perseverance wherever he went.’ That’s the kicker for me. If you are a craftsman of any sort and you’ve created something so exquisite that you are willing to name it after your father then you’re damn sure that you have a world-class creation on your hands.
This wine retails for around $125 which means you might not be drinking this wine every night of the week but if you want to treat yourself to something special, this wine is it. And for a more affordable wine you can check out DAOU’s 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon which sells for $28 and has notes of dark cherry, subtle mocha, truffles, and pure blackberry.
Bulleit Bourbon Blenders’ Select No. 001

This whiskey is said to carry notes of honey, dried fruit, toasted oak, vanilla bean and it has a smooth finish of fruit wine decadance. They suggest you enjoy the Bulleit Bourbon Blenders’ Select No. 001 neat, on the rocks, or mixed in an Old Fashioned. Really, it’s good to go however you prefer.
You can order the Blenders’ Select via Drizly at a suggested Retail Price is $49.99 (750mL).

It’s a 9-in-1 trimmer that includes a beard trimmer, hair trimmer, ear and nose trimmer, body hair trimmer, detailer, and more. There’s no sense in having multiple grooming gadgets in your bathroom when you can roll them all up into this incredible one device.
This is a perfect gift for dad or present to yourself. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700
Futuristic noise cancellation is maybe the 700s most impressive feature. You can personalize your environment with 11 levels of noise cancellation. As you increase the noise cancellation from 1 to 11, you incrementally minimize the most invasive work from home distractions—like the dishwasher, or Jim cutting his grass for the third time this week, or my roommate blabbing about something or another.

Glorious Throwback 90s Teva Sandals
These ‘Original Universal’ Teva sandals in a 90s throwback multi-color scheme are pure gasoline. This fire makes me want to fire up some old episodes of In Living Color because it almost appears as if they scraped the show’s intro and distilled it down into a pair of sandals. The colors work perfectly.
These throwback ‘Original Universal’ Teva sandals make me want to drive up to the Nantahala Outdoor Center in North Carolina and do some whitewater rafting. And stop at McDonald’s on the way to get a Happy Meal with a toy. Truly, Teva has captured the essence of the early 90s with these throwbacks and for that reason, I’m calling these the hottest drop of Summer 2020.

Sick New Gear This Week
Here we’ve got ‘Worry-Free Deodorant’ from Each & Every which uses simple, clean ingredients like coconut oil and Dead Sea salts to fight odor all-day. One thing that’s particularly great about this deodorant in addition to it being better for your skin and body than normal off-the-shelf deodorants is this company uses energizing scents that pick you up when you need it. This will keep you odor-free all day long but have you smelling (and probably feeling) better than you’re used to.

Lightweight Polarized Sunglasses Are Only $35
Today is an excellent day to refresh your sunglasses. These lightweight polarized sunglasses from Huckberry are only $35, they come in multiple colors, and the classic styles will frame your face perfectly without looking out of place.
The two styles of shades we’re looking at here are the Huckberry Weekenders and the Cruisers. Each retails for $35 but there’s a higher-end option for $45 which is still like 1/4 of the cost you can get stuck paying if you go down to the mall for sunglasses. In fact, you can buy every style of these awesome sunglasses and still spend less than you might fork over at the mall. This is a win-win.
Janji Running Gear For Men
I’ve taken my running to the next level lately. Years ago, I was running 3-5 miles a day, five days a week. Then I tore my meniscus (again) and went the better part of the last decade without running regularly and have been hitting the Peloton hard. Now I’m cycling in about 3 runs a week and I’ve been absolutely loving Janji Running gear lately. I have this hat, singlet, and these shorts. The hat is quick-drying and has a DWR finish to keep the sweat out of my eyes.
The singlet is a game-changer for me because it’s so hot outside in Florida I’ve been able to stop myself from overheating with the freedom this provides without sleeves. Sure, this is something a serious running would wear and not often someone like myself but I cannot recommend this enough for Summer running. The shorts are spectacular as well. They are liner-less which means you can go ‘guerilla-style’ out there and let it all hang out while running or you can wear compression shorts like I do sometimes. The stretch fabric gives you a full range of motion and these are also DWR coated so they dry quickly.

YETI Roadie 24 Hard Cooler
I’m consistently blown away by how season after season, YETI Coolers improves their best-in-class coolers. The all-new YETI Roadie 24 Hard Cooler fits a niche that is very much needed in my daily life. It’s the perfect cooler for tossing in the truck/car and on the boat where it can double as a seat. It is also the perfect height for using as a seat while tailgating, camping, or drinking in the driveway with the neighbors like I’ve been doing for the past few weeks.
The new YETI Roadie 24 Hard Cooler is now 10% lighter, holds 20% more ice/beer/drinks, and has 30% better thermal retention than its predecessor. This also comes in a great sweet spot in terms of price ($199 on YETI’s website) and comes in Navy, White, Desert Tan, and a clean looking Charcoal. Dare I say this is the only thing dad wants for Father’s Day this year? It can sit next to him in the passenger’s seat of the car (or backseat), on the floor of the golf cart, or anywhere else dad wants to crush ice-cold beers while keeping a sandwich cold. Dads love YETIs and you can scoop this one by following that ‘shop now’ button below.
