We’ve seen some impressive feats of automotive performance courtesy of Specialty Vehicle Engineering. Michigan-based SVE has unleashed some completely bonkers over-the-top vehicles such as the 800-horsepower Yenko/SC Silverado and a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. The latest monster vehicle with an absurd amount of horsepower is the 2019 Yenko/SC Stage II Corvette Grand Sport.
The 2019 Yenko/SC Stage II Corvette Grand Sport is a 1,000-horsepower beast thanks to upgrading the 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 to 6.8 liters, plus there is a custom 2.9-liter supercharger with an upgraded fuel system and injectors. Add forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam rods, and forged aluminum pistons to make this Vette ready to tear shit up. This custom automobile comes in manual or automatic (but why?).
You can pick up your 2019 Yenko/SC Corvette Grand Sport at any Chevrolet dealership that works with Specialty Vehicle Engineering. But don’t forget to bring your checkbook because all this hefty performance comes at a price. The Yenko upgrades on a Stage II Corvette Grand Sport with a seven-speed manual transmission along with a three-year warranty will start at $68,995 or the eight-speed automatic transmission goes for $77,995. That’s just for the upgrades. For the vehicle and the upgrades you’re looking at a base price of $134,490. Better gather your money quick because SVE is only making 25 each of the Stage I and Stage II suped-up Vettes.
