The 800-Horsepower Yenko/SC Silverado Is The Supercharged Chevy Pickup You’ve Been Dreaming Of

Are you ready for a Chevy pickup truck that will not only haul a ton of sheetrock but also has enough giddy-up to get your pulse racing? Introducing the 2018 YENKO/SC Silverado pickup truck from Specialty Vehicle Engineering. The supercharged Silverado pays tribute to legendary racer Don Yenko with enough horsepower to get you anywhere despite whatever you’re hauling.

Specialty Vehicle Engineering took a 2018 Standard Cab, Short Box Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4×4 and did their magic. SVE added a supercharged 6.8-liter V-8 LT-1-based engine and made some performance upgrades to enable the Silverado to pound out 800 horsepower and 750 pound-feet of torque. They added a custom-built stainless steel exhaust system and made the truck lighter.

The YENKO/SC pickup truck comes equipped with Brembo’s larger front brakes, that include 6 piston calipers and 16.1″ Duralife vented rotors. SVE lowered the Silverado’s height by a few inches and added a custom front sway bar. The truck includes Rancho shocks, skid plates, Hill Descent Control, and an automatic locking rear differential, 3.42 rear axle ratio.

This sweet ride comes at a price. The Silverado costs around $46,000 and the Yenko/SC performance package will add about $47,000. Not to mention that Specialty Vehicle Engineering will only make 25 of the 2018 YENKO/SC Silverado pickup trucks. The current generation of Silverados are expected to end this year so this is the last of its kind.
