Heavy metal band Mastodon has dropped their new music video for ‘High Road’ and it tells the epic tale of a nerd ascending to LARPing glory!
While most of those words I just used mean next to thing for the majority of us…the video itself is worth your time. Ten seconds in I was still asking myself “What is this crap? What’s going on here? Why did someone get paid to make this?”
But by the end I had myself nodding in approval of the nerdling turned LARP overlord. I can’t help but admire this weird world of ‘Game of Thrones’ meets Sean William Scott’s ‘Role Models’ and the level of nerdgasm that they’re able to achieve in just four minutes.
