Serena Williams reacts after her shocking loss in the French Open

Serena Williams was ousted today in the French Open by 35th ranked Garbine Muguruza 6-2, 6-2. It was the worst loss of Serena’s professional career. She has now been eliminated before the 4th round for the second straight Grand Slam.

It was a brutal showing overall. Serena failed to get her serve on target and struggled mightily with her ground strokes. Much of that had to do with Garbine Muguruza’s relentless attack on the middle of the court, forcing Serena to go for winners that simply weren’t available.
