Take a wild guess who the world’s highest paid athlete is?

As they do every year, Forbes has released its list of the world’s highest paid athletes. If I told you the man at number one is only the second athlete ever to earn more than $100 million in a year would you know who it is?

Before I reveal the answer, here’s the rest of the top 10…

10. Matt Ryan $43.8 million (really?)
9. Rafael Nadal $44.5 million
8. Phil Mickelson $53.2 million
7. Roger Federer $56.2 million
6. Tiger Woods $61.2 million
5. Kobe Bryant $61.5 million
4. Lionel Messi $64.7 million
3. LeBron James $72.3 million
2. Cristiano Ronaldo $80 million

Soccer star Neymar at age 22 is the youngest on the list coming in at #16 with $33.6 million, Mickelson was the oldest at 43 years of age, and the highest paid woman on the list is Maria Sharapova at #34 with $24.4 million.

Okay, enough stalling. The name that’s missing, the man whose nickname actually is “Money,” the man who tops the list at $105 MILLION is none other than…

Floyd “Money” Mayweather. How appropriate.
